GamifyRoutine, with its extensive customization options and gamification modules, is likely one of the best habit-building apps in the world.
To check the habit, simply click the checkmark symbol (✔).
If your habit has an inner TODO list (as in the example above), you can first check specific items on the list, making it easier when the task is complicated.
Green bars indicate a streak from the last 7 active days. If you miss a habit on any given day, the bar will turn red. Hovering over the bar with your mouse or tapping on it on a mobile device should show the date and whether the habit was completed.
1. Click on the Habit name
2. Edit the habit and click Save, or if you want to remove it, click Delete this habit.
When adding or editing a habit, you can specify how often it should repeat. If it doesn’t repeat on a given day, it won’t be required for the daily reward and will appear at the bottom of the list in a different color from active habits.
By default, every habit is set to repeat daily.
You can set a habit to repeat only on specific days of the week. For example, if you do something only from Monday to Friday, or only on Sundays.
Alternatively, you can set a habit to repeat every certain number of days. For example, if you want to train at the gym every other day.
Inner TODO is an optional feature that is useful for more complex habits. It is available for your convenience.
If a habit consists of multiple steps that you might forget, it’s helpful to define them. This way, before checking off the entire habit, you can check off its individual steps.
Remember that checking inner TODO elements doesn’t give you any points. You need to complete the whole habit.
